Estufa is a wonderful daughter of the excellent stallion Piaff bred at the Janów Podlaski Stud, as double Polish National Champion Stallion as both junior and senior. Piaff was appreciated as a superb stallion not only in Poland, but also in the US, where he won numerous Champion Stallion titles. Piaff is by the Michałów-bred European and Polish National Champion Eldon, himself a sire of magnificent broodmares and chief sires. Piaff's dam Pipi also holds the title of Polish National Champion, but is most importantly remembered as a producer of a splendid group of horses at Janów, including Pilot, Pilica (dam of Palmeta), Preria, Pomerania and Pilar, who is the best of Pipi’s daughters and has further gifted the breed with Panonia, Pieta, Pinga, Pinta, Pilarosa and Pomian. 

Estufa has excellent show horses in her pedigree not only from her sire's side, but also through her dam line via Estara out of Esteria bred at Kurozwęki Stud Farm and purchased by Białka Stud. The damline descends from Ellora, dam of the fabled El Paso, Scottsdale Champion & US National Champion, as well as the first Polish-bred horse that changed owners for the price of seven digits, namely - one million dollars. Ellora's descendants are especially known for their athletic abilities, such as Figaro & Bandola St. winner El Ghazi, Poland's most known all-around Arabian and WAHO Trophy recipient Elekt, Sasanka St. winner El Sara and Białka St. winner Elsana.
